Petworth Marquee Hire were established in 1988 by Richard Whitcomb and his wife Elaine and has remained as a family run company ever since. They have built up a reputation for proving a friendly, professional and reliable marquee hire service within both the domestic and corporate sectors.

Richard started the business with just a single traditional rope and pole marquee, but now boasts a huge range of up-to-date, quality aluminium framed marquee structures alongside beautiful linings and interiors, furniture and flooring. Everything you may need for that perfect event!

Richard’s priority from day one has been to provide the finest quality equipment along with the best service, and the company now has a wide and diverse client base, so he must be doing something right!

While the company continues to go from strength to strength we love taking on new clients with a new range of events. We are one of the most experienced - and we think the best - provider of marquee hire solutions in the South of England.

In 2000 Petworth Marquee received The Performance Textiles Association (PTA) Industry Award for its overall excellence and innovation in siting marquees. This included work carried out for clients such as the Royal Navy where marquees are erected on the flight decks of ships, and siting a marquee on the end of the Palace Pier in Brighton.

Even more recently Petworth Marquee have supplied our services internationally in the Dijon region of France.
